Location: Fleetwood, Lancashire
Salary: £45,559.25
Shift Pattern: Initially Days (8am–4pm), transitioning to a rotating 3-shift pattern

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established British manufacturing business with an outstanding reputation and exciting long-term growth plans. This role offers an initial 18-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of extension up to three years and potential permanent opportunities as the company continues to expand its operations.
Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in delivering safe, reliable, and efficient production through a proactive reliability-led maintenance strategy. The successful engineer will be responsible for maximising equipment availability, improving asset performance, reducing repeat failures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and packaging operations.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance EngineerMulti-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
Experience within Food, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated environments.
Experience supporting continuous improvement projects.
PLC fault-finding experience would be advantageous.
£45,559.25 annual salary including shift allowance.
Initial 18-month fixed-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension up to three years.
Potential opportunity to secure a permanent position as site expansion progresses.
6.4 weeks annual leave (including bank holidays, pro rata).
Scheduled attainment bonus paid in November.

Initially working Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm before moving onto a rotating 3-shift pattern:
Week 1: 6am – 2pm
Week 2: 8am – 4pm (or 7am – 3pm depending on business requirements)
Week 3: 2pm – 10pm
